Marram Grass planting

Come learn about the sand dune conservation work being done by communities up and down the coast. Learn about marram grass harvesting and planting, and the value and vulnerabilities of coastal dune systems. Fifteen-minute talk and demonstration will be followed by a 45-minutes hands-on marram grass planting event. Event hosted by Fenit Coast Conservation in conjunction with Clean Coasts. All are welcome, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring gloves. Where possible bring a small spade or trowel for planting.
